10 Graphical User Interfaces
Because only one num erical value per signal is uploaded during a time
step, the number of samples of a scope object is set to 1. The block uses the
capability of the xP C Target command-line interface and is implemented
as a MATLAB S-function. This block is available from the xpclib/Misc
sublibrary. See From xPC Target i n the xPC Target I/O Reference for further
configuration details.
Note The use of From xPC Target blocks requires a connection between the
host and target PC. If there is no connectio n between the host and target PC,
operations such as opening a model that contains these blocks or copying these
blocks within or between models, will take significantly longer than normal.

system, a controller, and its beh av ior. You u se this model to create a real-time
