the upper-left corner of the component to be, then setting the size of the
control by dragging the cursor to the lower-right corner before releasing
the mouse button.
2 Assign a unique identifier to each component. Do this by setting the value of
their
Tag properties. See “Assigning an Identifier to Each Component” on
page 6-24 for more information.
Note If you are adding an axes, allow space for tick marks to be placed
outside the box that appears in the Layout Editor.
If you are adding a component to a panel or button group, you should also see
“Adding a Component to a Panel or Button Group” on page 6-20.
If you are adding an ActiveX control, you should also see “Adding an ActiveX
Control” on page 6-22.
This is an example of a GUI in the Layout Editor. Note that components in the
Layout Editor are not active. Chapter 7, “Saving and Running the GUI”
describes how to generate a functioning GUI.
